Go to Rajaportin Sauna, located in Pispala, to experience some very original public sauna culture in Finland.

Pyynikki observation tower with the donut cafe would be an obvious choice for a quick visit as well as Pispala nearby.

my opinion also is at Sauna of Rajaportti is must. It's my famous place when i relaxing weekend time in Tampere.

One interesting place to visit is Näsinneula Observation Tower, best view of the town. In summertime (May 1st - Aug 31st) you can also visit local amusement park Särkänniemi which is right next to Näsinneula.

Ice swimming in Tampere is a relaxing and fun experience in the winter. You can do this at Kaupinojan sauna and Rauhaniemen kansankylpylä.
