  Catch the HKL ferry from the east corner of Market Square. It costs the same as a regular bus ride (or you can use your HKL ticket if it has not expired).

  Take a flashlight to the island, as there are tunnels to explore within the fort walls.

  Head towards the second island, where there's a nice picnic field.

  If you go to the farthest point on the island at around 5 pm, the Swedish cruise ships squeak by the narrow channel, looking like they are actually on the island, they are so close. Really cool to see.

  Suomenlinna, fortication on the front of Helsinki. Take a ferry from Kauppatori market squer. It will cost only same price as public trafic ticket. You will see Helsinki from the sea and historical fortifications. Also the living on the islands is like in the old times.
