Lisa Sounio replied over 2 years agoKolo - a new tiny shop by stylist Mari Vatanen on the corner of the Swedish theater in Helsinki Esplanadi. This little flower shop sells also "juttuja & asioita" = stuff and stories. Check out the opening hours before hand. The swedish theatre also has a cafe KAFKA, where you may bump into Finnish actors or writers. They also serve affordable soup for lunch and coffee with Cinnamon bums. The theatre inside hass very beautiful interior decor. Also, funnily this theatre is the only building in Helsinki touched by famous American-Finnish Architect Eero Saarinen. His office did the renovations in the 1950´s. Eero is known better for the JFK terminal 5 in New York and the eternally iconic Tulip chairs.
