stefan anderson replied over 4 years agoI agree with Juha regarding Nuuksio, if you fancy outdoor stuff. Otherwise one could always watch icehockey and Espoo Blues at the Länsiauto areena (if there's a game scheduled naturally). Shopping for those into that; Tapiola Centre with among all the good dep't store Stockmann, or either the shopping malls Iso Omena ("Big Apple") near Länsiväylä or Cello in Leppävaara.

Minna Takala replied over 4 years agoAgree with Kurt related to Emma - nice experience with several museum. And cafeteria has tasty soups for lunch.
An other interesting art museum is Akseli Gallen-Kallela's Museum , originally his home & ateljee - for more info see http://www.gallen-kallela.fi/english.html
It has also a nice cafeteria.

Sami Pippuri replied over 4 years agoVisitors should stay in Helsinki. Espoo is mostly suburban and getting around requires a car. Most of the culture and other events are in downtown Helsinki anyway.
For the outdoorsy, recommend the trail from Westend along the coast, great scenery and beaches, or then the Nuuksio camping/hiking experience.
