  My favorite day-hike in Nuuksio area: take bus 85 from Espoon Keskus (Espoo railway station) all the way to Kattila (address: Kattilantie 45, Espoo). Walk via the National Park, about 8km to Siikaranta (there is a cafe in the hotel) and take bus 27 back to Espoonkeskus. Only a few buses per day, and only during the summer, consult the time table in advance, see http://hsl.fi/

  Nuuksio is a district and a fresh-water highland in Espoo having a national park in its western parts - the only national park in Helsinki metropolitan area.
