Amazing shop of wicker baskets, and all things straw. I would have loved to take many of the baskets home, but sadly they would not fit in my suitcase. But I did pick up a pair of alpargatas, traditional Valencian farmer's footware, for 11 euros.

The place to go for a Spanish fan. The owner will happily unfold all the fans for you. She carries a range starting from 2 euros, but goes all the way up to hundreds of euros if you're looking to splash out. They also have an amazing selection of gloves.

If you plan to go here and also the Oceanographic, go for the combined ticket, which will pay for your entrance to the aquarium and then only 2 euros more for the museum.

If you plan to also go to the Museum of Arts & Sciences or Hemisferic, be sure to pick up a combined ticket, which saves about 5-7 euros. Also, the line for the combined tickets is often shorter than the aquarium line. Even if you're not going to the museum, pick up your ticket for the Oceanographic there first, where lines are a great deal shorter.
