For "paella" go to La Dehesa - Jose Luis in El Saler. You'll eat out by the sea first class food.

Great and cheap Spanish cuisine. We pronounce it "generaliife"!

My favorite tapas place. Good size portions of delicious food! The meatballs were my favorite. The rum cake was delicious, have it flambe. And of course don't miss out on the amazing sidra (scrumpy cider).

Great place to stop for lunch in the historic center. 100 different types of mini sandwiches. Just fill out the form at the table and take it to the counter.

Good if you're looking for something different than Spanish food. Everything on the menu sounded good. Friendly English speaking staff, hip, intimate setting.

Great if you're looking for a snack, especially at a-typical Spanish eating times (like when we needed something quick before leaving for the airport at 5pm) since they're open continuously from 10am - 2:30am. Ask for the sidra, a cloudy cider that not only tastes amazing, but is a spectacle when poured out of the giant wall cask.

One of the most popular places in the downtown to taste the typical paella of Valencia. And one of the few ones where you can try a good one! :)

Best place to have an informal lunch or dinner, with the highest quality and the best price. Best patatas bravas in Spain. Also try the ham and the prawns.
