Theres a Bus to Valldemossa and then another to Fornalutx from Plaza de España ( bette rcheck the times and changes during seasins )

I think the best way is taking de Train Palma to Soller, and go walking to Fornalutx passing trought Biniaraix (an other small village near Fornalutx).

The trip may take 60~90 minutes from Palma to Soller, and depence on your fit the rest 20~35 minutes to Fornalutx.
