Where's good to eat in Marbella?

Lisa Richards replied over 2 years agoDo you mean Marbella town itself, or the surrounding area? If you're happy to drive, then there are some great places away from the stretch of coast. Let me know if you're happy to explore. In Marbella itself, there are a couple of excellent, progressive, modern restaurant. Messina is my favourite - clever, exciting, yet accessible cooking from an Argentinian couple with an excellent wine list. They should have received a Rising Star from Michelin this year. Another, but not for the faint-hearted as the cooking is out there, is Skina. Excellent place with some terrific, unusual wines from northern Spain. El Lago's another Michelin starred place - the food's really good. I'm not a fan of the location though - it's in a golf club's restaurant and feels a little starched.
