Visit Mesquita Cathedral before 10 a.m. in the morning, and you'll get a free entrance and will probably have the chance to stroll around this beautiful building almost alone.

Yes, I agree with Tanja, beside the Mezquita (Mosque) there is a small bar called "Santos" enter and try the best spanish omelette , not only of Cordoba :)
Visit the gardens of the Alkazar Castle, the Tendillas and Corredera Square and be ready for high temperature. :)
