Ero Carrera replied over 4 years agoBest local market: La Boqueria Also the renovated Santa-Caterina's market is worth a visit. It was a really good restaurant appropriately named "Cuines de Santa-Caterina", Santa-Caterina's Kitchens
For shopping: high-end shops for design and clothing are to be found along Passeig de Gracia. Portal de l'Angel is a good area with smaller shops. L'illa Diagonal and the different El Corte Ingles buildings around the city are good shopping malls. For electronics FNAC is handily located in Plaza Catalunya
