Cairo airport has free WIFI. the only airport taht i know that does not try to make money off travelers on line.

Most nice food places/cafes have free wifi, Euro Deli and Farrah, next door to the President Hotel in Zamalek, to name two. If you need a computer you mightn't be so lucky.

Sofitel El Gezira in Zamalek has free wifi (and breakfast) at least in the luxury rooms. Great hotel! 500m from the Opera.
