Good option for Quito apartment rental & Otavalo area recos

My wife and I spent 5 nights in Quito last August, followed by 3 nights just north of Otavalo. For the Quito apartment we worked with ColonialEcuador.com and found a great place. While I was staying in San Rafael for two weeks this hidden cabana was great for getting away... And the cooking was excellent there...

The Secret Garden A great social hostel in Old Town with friendly staff and a travel agency. They also offer breakfast and dinner on the 5th floor terrace overlooking the city.
