Morten Just replied over 3 years agoTake a walk around the lake in Christiania while you still can. The architecture of the houses around the lake are like no other in the world. Some quirky, some interesting and some plain stupid, and some you want to sell everything you own to move in to, they all represent the spirit of the 30+ year old social experiement soon to be destroyed and taken over by regular housing.

per poulsen replied over 3 years agoIn summer you should go to Amager Strandpark or one of the newly built habourbaths. Svimming near city centre is definetely a treat!

Mark Jensen replied over 3 years agoGenerally, hanging out anywhere else but Strøget (the shopping street) and Town Hall Square (Rådhuspladsen) is nice places in Copenhagen. Definitely a stroll from Kgs. Nytorn to Kastellet is worth checking out no matter when you visit the city.

Anders H. Nissen replied over 3 years agoTake a walk along the harbour. Enjoy architectural pearls like the Black Diamond (the Royal Library) and despise hideous bunkers like the Hilton.

Erinma Ochu replied over 2 years agoCheck out Karriere Bar http://www.karrierebar.com/en/
Karriere is a café/restaurant/bar situated in Flæsketorvet in Copenhagen.
It is a venue with huge ambitions – and the credentials to go with them: world class artists across a range of artistic disciplines have defined the functions and design of the place, thereby making art part of a social space shared by a broad audience. At Karriere art is a natural part of meeting, eating, drinking, relaxing and having fun, spurring communication, reflection and play. Giving art an immedeate relevance and meaning in a exclusive yet informal environment.
