small scale, great food, gets super busy...book in advance.dont go if you are in a hurry - small kitchen, but plenty of nice wine and appetizers to pass the time.

I suggest you visit the Schlenkerla-Schranke! I've visited this place every time I've visited Nürnberg since I was a kid. Nürnberger bratwursts, south-German potato salled with smoked beer is my favorite!

Most mentionable is the Biergarten. Nice place to sit and have a beer during summer. They have some small dishes, nothing special, but ok.

Fränkisches Gasthaus mit Portionen, bei denen auch der einheimische Franke satt wird. Passable Preise runden den guten Eindruck ab. Im Sommer gibt es nach hinten raus Sitzmöglichkeiten im Freien.

Rustikaler kleiner Biergarten mit einfachen Gerichten in großen Portionen. Zum Beispiel Currywurst oder Schinkennudeln. Kein besonderer Charme. Tagsüber mit dezenter Geräuschkulisse vom angrenzenden Freibad.

Böhms Herrenkeller. Typical local food.
