there's an excellent falafel place near the münchen hauptbahnhof. dachauerstr. @ karlstr. (second stop for the 20/21 tram)

You might as well get the classic German food out of the way with a visit to the Augustiner Braustuben or the Haufbräuhas for a show, some excellent helles or weißbeir, and authentic food.

This is the main Augustiner. Although it's a place where many tourists go, it's quite good. As is the Biergarten on Arnulf Straße which is a short walk from the main train station.
