Onkel Wok (Bertoldstr. 53) is a nice, cheap Asian restaurant in the city center. If you are on a budget, Döner kebab places are a good choice.

I particularly like Eufrat (Niemensstraße 6). Ask for the freshly made "Fladenbrot" instead of the "yufka" bread. They also offer delicious vegetarian food.
