Ullrich Schäfer replied over 3 years agoBesides going out at evenings (see www.banq.de for suggestions or just pay a visit to the new town - "Neustadt") there are various things to do during the day. One could see some of the galleries Dresden is famous for (Alte Meister, Neue Meister, Grünes Gewölbe,...) or the Dresden Hygienemuseum (www.dhmd.de). If the weather allows it you should take a trib by boat (www.saechsische-dampfschiffahrt.de) to Pilnitz and visit the castle. Or if you're more the sophisticate type you should check out the vineyards in Radebeul (you can get their by tram). One of my favorites is "Die drei Herren" (www.weingutdreiherren.de). Ask for their "Rotling" and make shure to take some bottles home :)
There's really a lot of stuff to do in Dresden and it really depends on what you prefer.

Clemens J. Leider replied over 3 years agoYou really have to go to "Neustadt" in Dresden, they have lots of bars and little stores there! One of my favourite locations there is the Scheunecafe and the "Hebedas" ( a small bar styled like in former GDR times).
This tip has the address "Scheunecafe, Alaunstraße, Dresden"
