    On Thurdays and Saturdays there is a food market on the Alaunplatz in the Neustadt. I also like the Konsum in the Alaunstr., it has a good choice of bio food and in general high quality stuff.

    In general the Neustadt offers a lot of small shops for clothes, decoration, books and gifts. I recommend Büchers Best and the Kunsthof Passage.
