Dusseldorf has the largest concentration of Japanese in Western Europe, as such I would def recommend either one of numerous Japanese restaurants in the Japanese quarter

Being in Germany, if you haven't already had the German food experience, checkout one of the numerous braurereis in town, they're all pretty simiar in terms of food quality although from an altbier perspective, my preference would be schussel of fuchsen.
