Oliver Thylmann replied over 4 years agoI'd suggest a "Brauhaus" because it is typically Cologne and not majorly expensive. Try Früh near the Dom or Gaffel am Dom, also near the Dom. The second one is a bit more pricy.

Mirco Wilhelm replied over 4 years agoAnother one would be Malzmühle near Heumarkt. It's part of a small brewery and one of the more original Brauhauses.

Eivind Dugstad replied over 4 years agoI think Alex or All Bar One at Friesenplatz are the best places for a Budget Lunch. Not so exciting food. but good and there is quick service and plenty of people around.

Gianna Brachetti-Truskawa replied over 2 years agoI think it's "Quattro Cavalli", if you don't want to go the "Mensa" and eat all that fried stuff. "Quattro Cavalli" have great, big pizza and very good pasta, all delicious and not expensive at all. Avoid peak times, though, because it gets extremely crowded in there.
