A good idea for the first night could be to have small walk through Bremen's Oldtown around the Marketplace, Bötcherstraße, the Schüttinger (http://www.schuettinger.de/) and the Schnoor (http://www.derschnoor.de/). Here you will find several possibilities to have a very nice evening.
