Savas Ziplies replied over 2 years agoBremen is the 10th largest town in Germany with over 500.000 inhabitants, but still Bremen seems to be the "largest village" in the country. With its locality at the Weser and the nice Osterdeich to spent the days, Bremen also offers a lot of History with the oldest town hall (UNESCO heritage) and old narrow trader alleys around the marketplace. As Bremen is very long in the area it allocates, Bremen offers the luxury of space many large towns do not provide. Therefore many parks and much nature can be visited in Bremen. Several expositions from culture in the several Bremen museums or the Universum (http://universum-bremen.de) allow the visitor to spent more than just one weekend in Bremen and do not get bored.
Bremen, the largest village in Germany is always worth the visit.

Mario Ruckh replied over 2 years agoBremen has some super creative architectural place like several refurbished bunkers from times of the second world war. Huge chunks of concrete are cut out of them and bungalows built on top. Some are flats now, there is one "Musikbunker" that offers rehearsal rooms for bands, but this one - the F38 in "Schwachhausen" - is also a place for exhibitions, concerts etc.
