Markus Spiering replied over 5 years agoSaunabad
It can get cold in Berlin throughout the winter: The saunabad is a nice, small but great sauna in Berlin's hip Prenzlauer Berg district.
Nice place to hang around with local, young people that gives this sauna place a great atmosphere.

don't miss the Tacheless/Cafè Zapata for easy alternative night life in Mitte.. for hard-core club scene, try to enter at the Berghain/Panorama not earlier then 4am, door selection is really strict and you can do nothing..if they like you, you're in. Not for the faint-hearted.

Jos Boumans replied over 4 years agoFirst Floor Restaurant
Wonderful restaurant with a michelin star chef. An international water menu spanning 45 pages, and a wine menu thicker than the phone book.
Be sure to ask the sommelier for suggestions to be served the best wines and I suggest trying the daily tasting menu!

Alexander Otto replied over 4 years agoBest French Bistro in Berlin
The Bandol Sur Mer in the Torstraße is propably the finest small french restaurant in town. Best products, young people cooking traditional french style, daily menu written on the wall (which is a great blackboard) and some tables on the sidewalk for the ultimate eat-and-watch-experience.

Dessi Greve replied over 4 years agoCafe Einstein - the ultimate breakfast & brunch place
Cafe Einstein is a stylish, a bit aristocratic type of cafe, with all those small details as linen serviettes, polished cutlery, starched table cloths and spirit of old Berlin. It is an excellent choice for breakfast, brunch or just a midday cup of something hot or cold, whatever you wish for. Its atmosphere is quite cosy and it is spiced with that specific German tradition I like so much, combined with style and very good service. The food is tasty and the menu is capable of satisfying different food moods. Cafe Einstein is one of my favorite places for meetings or just to have a cup of nice coffee and snack in Berlin. Medium price category.
