Tatiana Issaeva replied over 3 years agoNumber one place to sleep in Berlin: Mövenpick Hotel Berlin beim Potsdamer Platz (Schöneberger Strasse 3, 10963 Berlin). I loved the room design and excellent breakfast.
Second best place: Courtyard Marriott Berlin City Center on Alex Springer Str. Very quiet and well furnished clean rooms.

Charles Petrie replied over 3 years agoThe question depends strongly upon the individual. I like cheap places with free WiFi close to mass transit. I recently stayed at the very modest Hotel-Pension Arche Kantstr. 104a D-10627 Berlin. It's WPA with a very simple code. The WiFi is strongest in the small breakfast room. The location is very near the S and U-Bahn Charlottenberg. The price is very reasonable. But of course you must appreciate the "charm "of an old building. No stars here.
If you are looking for fancy in Mitte, of course Moevenpick and Marriot are nice. But if you are willing to spend money, why not just go for the Ritz right across from the Sony Center? Ein mal ist kein mal.

Jukka Kolari replied over 3 years agoI have recently stayed in Ibis Hotel and Suite Hotel near Potsdamer Platz. Just across the street there is the Anhalter Bahnhof S-Bahn station and you can reach the Potsdamer Platz in 10 minutes by walking.
Both hotels are basic chain hotels, not expensive but clean and great value for the money. The Suite Hotel has bigger rooms. The breakfast is a bit overpriced but you can find a cheaper and good breakfast at Cafè Stresseman (50 m from the hotels).

Maurício Alcântara replied over 2 years agoI really liked staying at Motel One Alexanderplatz. Excellent location, budget-friendly, beautiful room, on the heart of Mitte - the neighborhood I liked the most in the city.
