    Be careful

Be very careful with your belongings - several friends of mine were robbed of their wallets and bags in Prague both on the street and in the subway.

    Wonderful Cake

The Grand Cafe Praha has a superb collection of cakes, the slice of "Royal Cake" was gigantic and totally defeated me (and that's saying something.) Staff are really nice too, we kept going back for a cake breakfast.

One of the best Prague's jazz stages. Quite small actually, but very cozy. The design of the place is gorgeous (for Prague).

Unrivalled views over Prague are only the half of it - beautiful gardens, an observation tower - aka mini Eiffel Tower, museums, observatory and hall of mirrors. Also nice place for a picnic on a warm day

Often described as a hidden gem, is putting it mildly. Don't be fooled by the signs in central Prague to it's proximity as it is a fair bit out of the centre (especially if walking), but you can tram/underground then bus it quite easily. You will need a FULL day here it's so huge - set into a hillside, it is unlike any zoo i've seen - ie no 'cages'. Animals have a large area that is often close to their natural habitat (ie the mountain goats have a rocky hillside) to roam and are only have a fence/mesh/glass separating them from the visitors, other areas you can go through a kissing gate to be 'inside' the pen (eg with birds & limas), we stayed there for about 6 hours and didn't see half of what was on offer - definitely worth a full days visit.

Moving sculpture outside the Kafta museum, you could spend all day watching hoards of tourists giggle, ooh, ahh and pose for all sorts of rude things in front of it, or you could visit the Kafka museum.

To be honest, a bit of a let down, unless you like really old paintings by 'masters' you may never had heard of. Luckily the gallery is free entry after 4pm on a Monday. Certainly wouldn't pay to go in

Great museum that aims to allow you to experience Kafka's feelings/thoughts about his fears etc, along with history of his life.
