Fresh fish that you select with the manager Andreas. Grilled calamari and octopus. An assortment of Cypriot starters that appear at your table before you have even opened the menu. For dessert, Paragadi also has the best Soutjouko and other unusual boiled and sweetened fruits and vegetables. Also a nice selection of Cypriot wine like Vasilikon, a lovely dry white wine from the Pafos region made from the indigenous grape Xynisteri. Finish with a nice Cyprus coffee metrios!

Demetris Taliotis replied over 2 years agoIf you are interested in architecture, walk the side-streets off Makarios Avenue (from Hilton Hotel to very close to Eleftheria Square) and discover the 'tropical modernism' and 'indigenous brutalism' buildings of Nicosia - from private residences to the never-completed Zena Palace office and hotel. And a visit to the Municipal Market in the Old Town, on an early Saturday morning also goes without saying.

Alex Michael replied about 1 year agoNicosia doesn't really have much to offer in the architecture part, however if you are interested in shopping you should visit Makarios Avenue and Ledra. A variety of night clubs and cafe would bright up your nights and mornings. If is architecture and history that you are looking for you could visit Paphos.
