Ignacio Abella replied over 3 years agoIt really depends on the time you arrive in Havana and which part of town your accommodation is. There are private restaurants (paladares) and also tourist cafes/restaurants (state-owned) in and around most central area (Habana Vieja, Vedado, Miramar). If you're too late at night and staying at a hotel, most will be happy to fix you a sandwich. For a most-go restaurant , check out www.laguarida.com I have never been but everyone raves about it. Planning to go soon. On the pricier side as Havana paladares go but it's world famous after featuring in Oscar-nominated movie "Strawberry and Chocolate"
If you're in Vedado and late at night, there's a cafeteria in the ground floor of the Habana Libre hotel with opens late and the pizzas are good
This tip has the address "Havana"
