You'll find little 'soda' shops that serve typical food. Around universities and high foot-traffic areas there will be sodas strewn all around, you can have lunch there for $5, give or take. Food in rural communities is inexpensive, from the vicinity, and prepared more traditionally, generally speaking. ¡Buen provecho!
