    The most romantic city in the world

    Stay at the Charleston Hotel, which is 400-year-old former Santa Teresa convent, for an amazingly romantic atmosphere. Or if your budget can afford it, the even more romantic, but not quite as well-located Santa Clara Hotel, also an ancient monastery, with amazing ambiance.

    The rooms are nice + reasonably basic, but the service is exceptional. The rooms are air conditioned and the facility is not far from the old city. The pool and relaxing area is wonderful, even though the water is quite warm. Taxis to Old City are about $3USD
