Andrew Yellis replied over 2 years agoA fantastic little coffee shop near Huaqiao University. Located on the second floor of a corner building, right above a small supermarket. While slightly pricy for a Chinese establishment (1.90 USD/13 RMB for an average coffee), it is worth it in quality & atmosphere. There's a large selection of DVDs visitors are welcome to borrow for a 5 RMB deposit, expected to be returned whenever the visitor comes next. Highly recommended drinks: iced coffee, banana milkshake, Yorkshire tea. Mention you're studying Chinese to the owner and he'll gladly participate in a little conversation.
