  A beautiful hotel with a great staff. Location is excellent for Fudan visitors (across the street, literally) but very inconvenient for visiting downtown. There's a great pedestrian street just off to the side of the hotel where you can get cheap restaurant food at all times of day. If you're feeling adventurous, ask the bike-cart for a jidian beng, the Chinese version of an omlette.
