Edwin Ting replied over 4 years agoThe buffet brunch here is scrumptous, serving a good range of dim sum and Shanghainese cuisine. The 熏鱼 is the best I have eaten in Shanghai! At RMB 88, it is a steal!

Edwin Ting replied over 4 years agoDon't be fooled by the run down exterior and it's bright red shop sign which makes it look sleazy. Once you enter the compound, you quickly realize how large an operation this place runs.
It serves delicious local Shanghainese cuisine at very reasonable pricing. Very packed, and you should book in advance or be disappointed.

Ryan Chan replied over 3 years agoA beautiful hotel with a great staff. Location is excellent for Fudan visitors (across the street, literally) but very inconvenient for visiting downtown. There's a great pedestrian street just off to the side of the hotel where you can get cheap restaurant food at all times of day. If you're feeling adventurous, ask the bike-cart for a jidian beng, the Chinese version of an omlette.

Alicia Chavier replied over 3 years agoOld House Inn, down a small alley off the main road. Very quaint and quiet. A Future Perfect restaurant is attached, where breakfast is included in the room rate. The location is in the French Concession area of Shanghai, walking distance to many restaurants and bars... hip and trendy area with a great atmosphere!

Alicia Chavier replied over 3 years agoAbsolutely delicious noodles! In a beautiful, clean modern atmosphere. Very reasonable prices too.
Located around the corner from the address on Fumin Road, it faces Changle Road, a bit tricky to find but don't give up.
