Not a restaurant but a true Belgian Beer Bar, over 80 Trappiste and Belgian ales. Amazing. Ask for Rudy (owner) or Elvis.

This restaurant doesn't look like much, but the food is delicious. They specialized in Shanghainese food.

Ate here for their soft opening and didn't have a great experience. Went there for lunch today and both the service and food has improved. If you are looking for a big, heavy burger try the Aussie Burger.

Good Cantonese restaraunt with a wide variety of food. Everything from fried noodles, to curry, to sandwiches. Really tasty and affordable. Try the Hunan chicken with rice, the crackling pork and the pork sandwich.

Really good Sushi/Japanese place. Nice atmosphere and reasonably priced. Best to get a reservation as it's often busy even on weeknights.

Great food, excellent service. Caters to westerners, but prices are still fairly competitive. Make sure you try the chili and barbecued beef on cocktail sticks!

Excellent breakfasts until 11am weekdays/all day weekends, with free coffee refills! Also recommend the smoothies. Food quality is great but a little pricey. Still, consistently good food, friendly service, and good range of cold/hot sandwiches, always using quality ingredients. Free wifi.

Excellent gourmet burgers, tasty shakes too! Bit expensive but worth going to. Recommend the garlic fries and the Australian burger that comes with homemade apple sauce. Friendly service. Free wifi.

Authentic Malaysian food, beautiful decor (including a vertical garden!), friendly owner. Best mango smoothies in Shanghai. Reasonably priced, too. Tasty food. Awesome.

You have to try the whole lamb legs - they are amazing. Also the jiao zi dumplings, the fried chicken, and the sweet and sour pork. Food is top notch, food and beer is fairly cheap. Recommended.

Great Vietnamese food. Sizzling plates a speciality, and tasty (and reasonably priced) Vietnamese beer (333).

Cafe/bar, loosely Beatles themed. Pretty good breakfasts. Nice outdoor courtyard.

Decent sports bar. Great breakfasts and good variety on the menu, though a little on the pricey side. Waitresses wear ridiculous outfits and are very friendly, playing pool, table football etc. with customers. Full of aggressively drunk Americans when they're showing American football games.

Underwhelming food, very expensive for what you get. Decor is American to the point of being insulting. Lacklustre breakfasts, though the one saving grace is that they serve good quality coffee. Certainly not going back any time soon.

The place to go for Peking Duck. They also serve dog, which I'm not crazy about. But still.

Nice beer selection. Generous (American-sized) food portions. Nice decor. The one downside: awful, awful, awful music selection - 3 terrible hip hop songs on repeat.

Great noodles. Asahi on draft. Nice, modern decor, with 2 really long tables stretching the length of the restaurant.

Amazing food, great service. Clean, contemporary decor. A little pricey, but well worth it. The sautéed minced chicken with pine nuts in sesame pockets was one of the tastiest things I've eaten in Shanghai. Recommended.

I love the Swiss steak, eggplant wrap and stir-fried dou miao (vegetables).

Simply Fabulous!!

Very authentic Italian pizza.

Each time I've been to El Willy, I've been impressed. Food is consistently great. Creative dishes i.e. foie gras + kumquat + popcorn.

Robust wine list with plenty of Spanish D.O.s represented. Highly recommend.

Chef Stiller presides over the restaurant a la Kraftwerk---hovering above his computer screen in the open kitchen. Service is silent running with the chef whispering to his sous-chefs and servers.

Service: perfect. Food: perfect. A handshake from Chef Stiller at the conclusion of the meal. Desserts were fabulous. Outstanding cheese selection. Will return again.

This location sadly doesn't exist any more. It used to be one of my favourite restaurants and a great place to take a group of people for a reasonable price and great food and atmosphere. Dumplings are great, but so is pretty much everything else. Male friends particularly enjoy the roast lamb legs that come with plastic gloves to eat with.

Definitely try to find another of their branches!

Situated within the hugely popular Xintiandi bar and restaurant district of Shanghai.

Restored brick laneway house provides the setting for KABB, indoor bar and bistro room, and with outdoor terrace tables for watching the passing flows of pedestrians.

Excellent grill menu, and great happy hour deals means that KABB is always busy. And the house speciality Bloody Marys- maybe the best in Shanghai?
