  The Garden Hotel is one of the nicest hotels to stay at, because it's one of Guangzhou's legendary hotels. It's of the few platinum star hotels, and the lobby is one of Asia's grandest. The rooms and attention to service are excellent. It's located in the trendy area where lots of expats live in, and right across from the hotel is the famous GZ Friendship store where you can find the latest of the latest. Dining and Cafes are all around the area!

  A lot of business people like to stay at the Lido Hotel for it's superb location: right on the Beijing Road (THE shopping street of GZ). You can always catch a cab, everyone knows the place, so it's very convenient for any traveler, plus the rooms are fair priced. People who like a bit more, can stay at the Grand Continental Hotel & Serviced Apt. This hotel is brand new, also located right in the city center. The rooms are big and contemporary designed. You'll have a mini kitchen with microwave, dvd etc. Since it's concept is service apt, finding room service can be a bit difficult during busy times.

  NOTE: DURING THE CANTON FAIR (CHINA IMPORT EXPORT FAIR -TWICE A YEAR) EVERY HOTEL IS EXPENSIVE IN GZ.
