My house. Otherwise, just stay in new Grand Hyatt or Westin.

Victory Hotel on Shamian Island was a good deal... definitely recommended to stay on Shamian if you're here for leisure.

The Westin hotel in Guangzhou is one of the best hotel stays I've experienced in China. Fantastic service from all the staff. I lost my passport in the taxi from the airport and the concierge got it back for me in under 30 minutes, giving me an update on the status every 5 minutes. The restaurant & food options are great too.

love staying at the grand hyatt, boutique hotel on a large scale. clean, modern design with a twist of asian inspiration. service throughout the hotel is "let me help you" helpful + smiley friendly. the market cafe has a buffet that practically loops around the entire restaurant, it's amazing! after all of that eating, hitting their gym will be in order. great space with floor to ceiling windows to gaze out of while running off all of those calories!

a little bit out of the way, but a nice place to retreat to after.
