there are lot of good places, but anywhere you have to try the Pisco Sour! a a cocktail containing Pisco (a regional brandy), lot of lemon juice, and sometimes egg whites, simple syrup, and regional bitters.

Eladio, a delicious and reasonably priced steakhouse. The meat is good but DO try the Torta de Merengue Frambuesa (Rasperry Merengue Cake).

There are many places but if you want to eat chilean food, you must go to "El Caramaño" or the "Galindo". In both restaurants you can find good chilean food and good prices. Try the "pastel de choclos" or some fish like "Congrio frito with papas fritas" (fish and fries) or "Caldillo de Congrio".

If you want to spend a nice time, and have good food, go to Liguria, Providencia near Manuel Montt.
