Trond Ødegården replied over 3 years agoDepending on the budget I guess, but at «Auberge aux 4 Vents» four adults and five children at a eat-as-much-as-you-want Sunday lunch for CHF 169. (Which should work at at around CHF 26 for an adult). Children are charged half price, but I am not sure about their age-system (though the oldest in our party was 11 years). Food was very nice; rasped potato-omelette, scrambled eggs, various cold meat, jam, salads and as much juice, coffee or tea you could manage! Might be a good idea to book a reservation in advance. Quite busy and popular, but sometimes that is a good sign, isn’t it?
Easy to reach by car, but bus number 1 from the city-centre towards the sportsground/ice-hockey venue will take you (almost there). Then a 10 minutes walk from the bus-stop. Check out the map on their website: http://www.aux4vents.ch

Corinne Stoppelli replied over 3 years agoThere's a Sunday brunch at Le Mondial too, for 21.-/person. They also offer everyday a nice variety of sandwiches, soups for an excellent quality/price ratio. There's also Les Arcades, which offer excellent ciabattas & other common dishes. Le Paon is one of the best quality/price ratio in Fribourg. They have a very small menu, but what you will eat is definitely of an excellent quality, usually the also offer swiss specialities. A steak is 18.- and pasta & other menus vary between 12.- & 25.-
