Assiniboine Park is a great place to visit, summer or Winter. In addition to a large park, there is also the Assiniboine Park Zoo, Leo Mol Sculpture Garden, Pavilion Gallery Museum, Conservatory, Two Restaurants and in the Summer outdoor events at the Lyric Theatre are always fun, like free Jazz, and Ballet in the Park.

Hang out/walk around The Forks or Assinboine Park, especially if it's summer. Chat with the locals as they are very friendly.
