    Excellent Southeast Asian Noodles

Wonderful place for a quick bite to eat. Good atmosphere (very low-key with Drum and Bass or Electronic often playing). It's a guaranteed visit every time I go to Victoria.

Awesome place to eat/lounge in the evening! The Johnny Cakes are KILLER! (kind of like a Timbit/Munchkin). My personal fav. on the menu is Acke and Saltfish.

Also, they don't seem to advertise it much, but they have a GREAT brunch, probably the best in Victoria actually. The jerked salmon benny was amazing.

one of the best places to enjoy a real chinese meal, not "american chinese". They have an open kitchen and you can see the chefs prepping and cooking. There is not one dish that I've had there that was bad. All have an amazing blend of spices and taste amazing. My favorites are the special Lamb (and I am not really a fan of lamb meat) and the "Sechuan Green Beans" a special as well. Even if the food is a bit more pricier than your usual chinese food, it is well worth it and try their Green Tea or Mango ice cream for dessert.

The Noodle Box may possibly be my favourite place to grab a quick bite in Victoria. There are two locations in the downtown area, with one right in the middle of Chinatown. Seating is limited (moreso in the Chinatown location) but it is worth it. The cuisine is Asian fusion, and most meals are between $8-$11 each. You can choose your own spiciness level (from 1-10, and I find 4 to be almost unbearable) and you get a really good sized portion.

This is one of the places that the locals go!
