The Fairmont Royal York is a grand hotel in the CP railroad hotel tradition. It's located on the Union subway stop with direct underground access to Toronto's largest business towers and to the Via Rail and Go train stations.

Service is the best you can find. The restaurants are a cut above the usual hotel fare and the bars provide great meeting spots.

King Edward (Meridien) -- it's close to the office and is a nice hotel (as well as being Starwood!) -- but often very very hot in the rooms -- aircon doesn't always work well Fours Seasons -- but haven't stayed there for a long time

If money is no object - The Windsor Arms Hotel on St. Thomas Street is absolutely the loveliest little hotel - great little bar, excellent dining and tastefully and smartly furnished rooms. If you're into design/decor, The Ivy at Verity on Queen Street East. Oh so lovely - but better suited for women, since its located within a private women's club.

Best Western Toronto Airport Hotel. Resonable offer, large rooms and good (but expensive) service).
