Jordon Cooper replied over 3 years agoIt depends on the season. In the spring through fall, I would recommend getting in the car and exploring one of literally thousands of lakes north of Saskatoon. If you are interested in history, a day trip out to Batoche National Historic Site and Fort Carlton is a great way to explore the Northwest Rebellion and the see the impact the Hudson's Bay Company had in shaping Canada.
During July and August, you will want to take in one of Saskatoon's world class festivals. There is Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan along the riverbank in the summer, the Fringe Festival and the Ex in August, the Jazz Festival in late June.
If it is winter, the Saskatoon Blades will be playing at Credit Union Centre while the U of S Huskies will be playing basketball and hockey on campus. If you want to play hockey, rather than watch it, there is drop in hockey Friday afternoons at the Jemini Four Arenas.
