There are a variety of golf courses within an hours drive. Many people enjoy touring wine country. Near Penticton there are about 30 different wineries. Skaha Bluffs just south of the city is a world-renowned rock climbing site with hundreds of routes to suit any skill level. Every Saturday morning two blocks of Main Street close to host the farmer's market May through October. Road cycling is very popular. The hills near Penticton have some of the best mountain bike trails in the BC Interior. Just ask at one of the local bike shops.
