    Six Flags! Rollercoasters!

This is one of the few towns in the world to have a rollercoaster park that you can reach by subway.

    W Montreal hotel

Trendy hotel designed with care and detail. This W Hotel resides in the city's historic Banque du Canada building transformed into a rich, modern tapestry. The W hotels are known for the service. The even have a special speed-dial saying "Whenever, Whatever" and they'll make it happen for you.(as long as you can afford it, off-course ;))

In regards to the layout of the room with the bathroom: you love it or like it! In my case, loved it.

if you wanna explore some interesting areas, the old port is nice but kinda touristy/pricy. fanstastic old buildings and such. the next most obvious location is mile-end/plateau, which is due north of the old port. i love it there and it's gota bunch of great little shops. but my personal favourite place to explore is st. henri, which is just an amazing area. so many interesting nooks and crannies and some truly spectacular houses. a total treat to just walk around for a day. and get some fries at AA (not alcoholics anonymous, that's the name of the resto) while you're there-- great snacks, and the ambiance in that place is something lost anywhere else on earth... beaver panel booths, tootpaste blue wall paint, fake marble lineoleum tables, classic old-school shakers and heinz ketchup... like it's out of a 70s tv show or something.

Summer: Buy a bottle of wine at the liquor store/SAQ, then head to La Vieille Europe (3855 St-Laurent) to pick up some cheese, a baguette and cured meat, and wander up Mount Royal, find a nice spot for a picnic and relax.

Spring, summer, fall: any food lover/photographer should go to Jean Talon Market and revel.

Winter: Canadian Centre for Architecture has occasionally wonderful exhibits. The Belgo Building is filled with little art galleries and is worth a visit, if you are downtown.
