Jordon Cooper replied over 2 years agoThe Treat Spot is an old fashioned ice cream stand. It has a variety of flavours of hard ice cream, Slurpees, and cold drinks. The best part of it may be that it is air conditioned and on a hot day, it is a great place to step inside and take a look around in.

Jordon Cooper replied over 2 years agoThis once luxury hotel was built in 1910 at Arlington Beach, Saskatchewan. It was built by the William Pearson Land Company as a center of operations in Saskatchewan along the Last Mountain Lake and was a popular vacation destination for people all across central Saskatchewan.
Like most buildings built in the early part of the 20th century in Saskatchewan, the hotel was stick built and features a large two story veranda.
The main floor of the hotel has four rooms. There is a large lounge that still contains much of the original furnishings and other period pieces. It also features large dining room, a bedroom, and a double kitchen. The second floor contains six medium sized rooms, and a two room suite. The third floor had two large rooms and a long hallway.
Arlington Beach House today is part of the conference facilities of Arlington Beach Camp and Conference Centre. It is available to be rented out to groups or by individual rooms and can host up to 20 people.

Jordon Cooper replied over 2 years agoIt was the legendary beach here at Arlington Beach that attracted people from all over Western Canada at the start of the 20th century. It's a hard bottom which features excellent (and safe) swimming, fishing, and recreational boating.

Wendy Cooper replied over 2 years agoThe Treat Spot is one of my favorite afternoon places to visit at Arlington Beach. It features many flavours of hard ice cream, pop, and some nice Arlington Beach shirts and mugs. It is tucked away in the trees, surrounded by places to sit and visit and is often visited by a cold breeze.
