A good collection of art both old and new, though not focusing on modern art per se. The basement floor has interesting temporary exhibitions; on this visit (April 2011) it was a video installation of interviews done with people from around the world, being asked questions such as what they thought was the greatest challenge facing mankind. It was visually impressive but hard to get anything substantial from it as you couldn't make out much of the actual answers unless you waited a long time to be able to sit in the area in front of the video screens where you could hear the voices or read the subtitles.

The display of the main collection upstairs was flawed by the light display: the lighting shone on the paintings causing reflections that interfered with us viewing them. Seems an elementary thing to be considered when setting up this sort of thing, surely?
