In a former warehouse you can eat very well. They serve a choice of 10 different kinds of oysters, but also 'Bressekip' from their own chickenfarm. It's located just off the touristic route in a small alley. Very nice for lunch and dinner.

Carmen Duran replied over 3 years agoBest coffee in Town
Mokabon is a coffee-house for more then 70-years in the centre of Ghent. The pungent aroma of coffee pervades your senses at this unpretentious coffee bar, which roasts its beans on the premises. Locals from all walks of life gather around the original Art Deco timber bar for hot coffee as well as iced coffee frappés. You can also buy the house-blend beans.
