Gent, Belgium + Add a trip

There are two main shopping areas in the city centre, but Ghent is not a large city so they are still a short walk from each other; The South Shopping Centre (Zuid Shopping) is a proper mall, but if the weather is decent you will want to take a walk on the Veldstraat and the assorted side streets in the area. There is a good mix of major chains and smaller botiques in the area making it possible to find a bargain or that special gift you were looking for.

Also, some special shops including unique fashion, coins and hobby shops can be found walking down the Burgstraat, which is the same street where Castle Gravensteen is located.
