Jon Worth replied over 3 years agoClimb to the top of the arches in Parc du Cinquantenaire / Jubelpark for a splendid view over Brussels. Entrance is via the military museum (Musée Royal de l'Armée et d'Histoire militaire) and it's free. Just turn left after entering the museum, go past some middle age war exhibition, and go up in the lift.

Moray Gilland replied over 3 years agoDown in suburban Uccle, there is a super little organic market - no more than 10 stalls usually, squeezed into the parking area next to the church on Parvis St Pierre. Marvellous food, good prices, and a great chance to chinwag with stallholders or friends you bump into on the spot. Round it all off with a brunch at Le Pain Perdu on the corner - they serve very good lunches as well, but their French toast is a bit special, as the restaurant's name suggests. The version with apples on raisin bread is a particular favourite.

Thomas DALMASSO replied over 2 years agoVisit the Atomium near the Infamous Heisel stadium. This is an atom of iron magnified into a monument for the 1958 exhibition.
