Best bar you can go to in Brussels, "Delirium Cafe". Over 2000 beers amazing!

My first (and only) experience in a Michelin star restaurant was here, disappointed in the snobbish service looking down on her nose on us newbies. Also annoying that either everyone is" on the menu" or ""a la carte, no choice in between. They also kept serving bottled water all the time at the price of 10€ bottle, adding it up to quite a lot.

Definitely one of the most friendlier place to go to have a perfect meal in Brussels.

Toone is the home of the Theatre Royal de Toone, which is a puppet theatre, when there's no show on, you can drink in the venue, which is old with wooden benches, has puppet ephemera on the walls and a nice little courtyard that slightly set away from the Grand Place craziness outside. If you are stuck in this tourist area for some reason or another, this is a great place to have a quiet drink. It has free wi-fi too.

From the moment you step inside, it is as if you have stepped into a local time warp. Think back to those film noir movies you might have seen – this would be the set of a night-time meeting for two characters. It's hard not to think in black and white when you visit this place.

This is an authentic Belgian café where you can watch the world go by and be served by polite and friendly black-tied waiters. There is a resident tabby cat who roams the café and may sometimes take a liking to the guests and sit next to people. The general clientele is a mix of both tourists and the local folk and the atmosphere is generally relaxed and easy going, which is perfect for observing the regulars who do frequent the establishment, not to mention being a lovely place to rest your feet in the middle of exploring the city as it shuts at around 22:00 on most days.

Be sure to try the speciality drink of the house – the 'Half and Half' – which is half wine and half champagne!

A great place to experience classic Belgian food, with incredible 'Steak Frites'. Highly recommended.
